Call me crazy, but I love a clutter-free kitchen island. I still love decorating the rest of my kitchen, but having a clear island makes the kitchen feel tidy and open! Two things that have helped me visually declutter is this sink-suction sponge holder and hidden cabinet paper towel mount. They have been game changers!
The paper towel holder can either stick to your kitchen cabinet or screw in (which means it is safe for most rentals)! It has helped me use way less paper towels since they are hidden away.
The sponge holder is so handy because it drains the water after using the sponge instead of all of pooling on the counter. There are multiple styles and sizes on Amazon!
I still style the counter sometimes with a candle or florals, but keeping the rest tucked away makes it feel so fresh + clean!
