There is something about spring time where I just want to completely reorganize, declutter, and freshen up the decor in my home! Lately, my living room has felt kind of blah. I could not quite put my finger on it, but for awhile I have been eyeing a new TV stand. The other day, I decided to finally hit purchase on this Amazon console and I also bought some new mat black drawer pulls to make it look more modern!
The TV stand comes with three separate consoles, and they were pretty easy to put together. I spent last Saturday afternoon assembling everything and love how it turned out! It has really made me realize what was missing in this room! Our previous TV stand (scroll down to see) just looked too small. The length of this new TV stand & the solid look with the cabinets just really elevated the space!
Now every time I step into our living room I am so happy! The modern vibe mixed with the neutral colors creates an oasis that we can enjoy. I can’t wait to do more projects like this in the upcoming year!
One project I have been teetering back and forth on is whether or not to sand + re-stain our hardwoods. You can’t tell from these photos, but there is a lot of orange in our floors. I think sanding it down and finding it in a light-oak color would help liven up our space even more – don’t you think?
