For a holiday pairing with La Crema Chardonnay pairing, I went with a twist on a classic Brussels recipe! Chardonnay goes great with most veggie dishes, so I took a classic Bacon Balsamic Brussels recipe and added Honey Roasted Walnuts to compliments the creamy, nutty flavor!
La Crema 2021 Chardonnay

Total Time: 1 hour
Ingredients
1 Package of Bacon
12 oz of Brussels Sprouts
2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to Taste
3 Tbsp of Balsamic Glaze
1 cup of Honey Roasted Walnuts
Directions
- Preheat Oven to 400º
- Bake bacon until done, set aside.
- Clean & chop bussels
- Put Brussels in an oven save dish, cover in olive oil, salt and pepper
- Bake for 30-40 minutes
- Add in walnuts and continue baking for 5-10 minutes
- Chop bacon and add to dish, drizzle with balsamic glaze
- Pair with La Crema Chardonnay & Enjoy!Note: You can cook the bacon with the Brussels, but I choose to bake separately to control the crispiness of each ingredient.
