I am someone who really feeds off the energy of my surroundings. I put a lot of work and love into my home & decor! Slowly, but surely, Cam and I have been making this house our dream home and I am so excited to kick off this series to show you what we have done!
When we moved into our house last May, we brought all the furniture from our old master bedroom at our previous apartment. I used to really love it, our apartment had tall 9′ ceilings and the big gray headboard was such a fun focal point! However, I haven’t loved the vibe of our bedroom since moving into this home. The headboard covered half of the window, the nightstands looked cheap (because they were haha) and the rug was getting pretty dingy. I knew it was time for a change!
I started to research beds right after the New Year and we finally found our dream bed that would fit the space perfectly! To be totally transparent, it is now the most expensive piece of furniture we own… but so worth it! We finally pulled the trigger on it in March and we have been loving it! It actually shipped so quick too!
Overall, I love how the bedroom turned out! We still have a few things to do, like replace the photos in the picture frames, but it definitely so much brighter, warmer and happier! Check out the before & after photos below and all the links!
