Primary Bathroom Organization | Tips & Tricks

My latest spring cleaning project! Last weekend I completely organized my and my husband’s primary bathroom drawers and under our sink. It felt so good! If you want to see how bad it was before, check out my Instagram video… I had taken over most of the drawer space so it forced my husband to keep his stuff on the counter. We were in desperate need of an organization system so I decided to do some deep cleaning and grabbed some organizers from Amazon in the Container Store so we had a place for everything!

Step one of Organizing:

Take everything out of your drawers in from under your counter. This is where they say, “it’s going to get worse before it gets better…” Trust me though, it’s way easier to remove everything so you can do a deep clean and evaluate your stuff.

Step two of Organizing:

Which leads me to step two: deep clean! I cleaned every surface of our counter, sink, and cabinets before laying down some shelf liner I bought on Amazon!

Step three of Organizing:

Next up: decluttering. One of the most important steps! I threw away empty or old products, and make piles of products I don’t use to offer my sisters and mom! Part of the reason I had to organize our bathroom is because of my growing collection of products. It felt so good to go through everything.

Step four of Organizing:

My favorite part, organizing! My biggest tip is to make sure everything has a “home.” I absolutely love all of the organizers I bought, especially the long bin toothbrush holder and our floss and Q-tip containers! I like that they have lids, so it keeps everything clean. I used Container Store bins, bamboo lids, and labels under my sink because I like the way it looks. For my husband’s side, I usedlarge acrylic drawers and small acrylic drawers so he can see where everything is!

Step five of Organizing:

Finishing touches! On top of our counter, I gave my husband a silicone tray for his every-day stuff. This was a cool find because it is not breakable and stays on this ledge well! In between our sinks, I put a raised marble tray for our soap and other every day items.

This project felt so good and it made me even more excited to continue my organization projects around the house! I love making my home more peaceful. Let me know what you want to see next!

xoxo,
