Inexpensive First Apartment Furniture Roundup

Inexpensive first apartment decor and furniture! Where to find inexpensive decor and cheap furniture! Saving money when moving! college tips daily dose of charm lauren Lindmark

I did a post the other day all about the inexpensive furniture I bought for my apartment and I asked you guys on Instagram if you wanted to see a roundup of more options and you said yes! So I went back to all the sites I looked at for my furniture and rounded up some of the other cute pieces I was eyeing! To see what I ended up purchasing make sure to go back to my original post.

This is my second apartment I am moving into, however, the first one was furnished so it wasn’t as difficult (or expensive) to move in. I have had so much fun designing my new place and I can’t wait to show you all the finished room! When I first started looking I couldn’t believe how expensive some furniture was, but I ended up finding some amazing deals! I hope this post helps anyone out there that is moving soon!

Don’t forget to read my last post to learn How I Plan my Room decor & my FIVE Apartment Design Tips on a BUDGET! I also list my favorite stores to shop at!

Beds, Bed Frames, & Headboards!

Okay the great thing about beds is it doesn’t really matter what the frame looks like because you can throw some cute bedding on it and no one will know! I just have a plain white bed frame right now, I like the look of no headboard (just lots of pillows), but my roommate and I talked about DIYing one for me which would be fun! Or there are some really cute inexpensive headboard options I can buy later!

Most of these are between $100 – $200!

Rugs

To me, rugs are always the focal point of the room. It really ties the whole look together! Whenever I design a room I usually start with picking out a rug. I have almost always purchased my rugs from Amazon because they are so inexpensive, but I have also purchased smaller rugs from Overstock and all of theirs are so cute! Check out my favorites below!

Most of these are between $100 – $250 (but depend on size)

Dressers, TV Stands & Nightstands

I grouped all of these together because I felt like they were similar! You can use a dresser as a TV stand, or throw some baskets on a tv stand shelf and use it as a dresser! Keep in mind that you can switch out knobs to make them look nicer!

Starting at $40+

Desks & Shelves

I actually haven’t purchased a desk yet for my apartment, but I just found some really cute ones online that I will link here! I also wanted to include some shelves because that is a great way to add some storage to a small space!

Decor

Last, but not least, I wanted to link some cute decor! This is my favorite part of shopping for a new space! I love looking on Etsy and in stores like Homegoods!

I hope you all enjoyed this small little roundup! Can’t wait to share my room tour soon!
