School Dance – What My Date and I wore! (+ where to buy your dress & how I asked my date)

Last night my boyfriend and I went to our Sweetheart dance – I know it’s called something different at every school, but at my school this is the dance where the girls ask the guys and the girls have to pay! My absolute favorite part of going to school dances is picking out the dress – but it can also make it the worst part if you can’t find one you love. Below are the links to what I wore and where I got my boyfriend’s bow tie, and also a list of my favorite places to dress shop!

My dress was only $44 from Lulu’s! It’s called the “Bring the Heat Black Lace Bodycon Dress” and it fit like a glove!

I had to wear sticky boobs with my dress because it was open back, I tried this awesome “Nubra Adhesive Bra” and loved it!

For accessories I wanted to keep it simple so I got my nails painted bright red to match his bow tie (I also got our corsage and boutonnière made with red roses) and I wore simple black “Danielle Kendra Scott Earrings” in large!

For shoes I decided to buy a new pair this dance and went with “Vince Camuto ‘Norita’ Patent leather pumps” in black!

I asked my boyfriend to our dance by buying him four bow ties from The Tie Bar, which is an awesome website that has super cheap ties and bow ties (about $15 each!!). So I told him he could choose which one he wanted to wear and I would match my dress…

Spring Seersucker Gingham in Mystic Blue/Coral

Bella Strip in Emerald
